When you access our website, the following information is stored in server log files as a standard procedure:

  • The website from which the file was requested - referrer URL
  • The name of the file
  • The date and time of access
  • A description of the type of web browser used / browser version and operating system
  • The host name of the accessing computer

Saved data is used only for internal statistical purposes, and cannot be associated with you personally.

We process the data indicated for the following purposes:

  • To ensure the establishment of a proper and smooth connection for our website,
  • To ensure the comfortable use of the website,
  • To evaluate system security and stability and
  • For other administrative purposes.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 clause 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is based on the purposes of data collection described above. We will never use collected data to draw conclusions about you personally.

You can visit our website without providing personal information.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies,” text files saved on your computer that facilitate an analysis of your use of our website. The information provided by these cookies regarding your use of our website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will, however, be shortened within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states in the Agreement on the European Economic Area before this transfer. Only in exceptional cases will your full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA, where it will be shortened. Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API, a map service of Google LLC. (“Google”) to display an interactive map and prepare directions. Google Maps is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

If you use Google Maps, information regarding your use of our website (including your IP address) may be transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google may also transmit this information generated through use of the maps to third parties if this is required by law or if these third parties process this data on behalf of Google.

Google will never combine your IP address with other Google data. Nevertheless, it is technically possible for Google to be able to identify at least some individual users based on the data received. It is possible that personal data and personal website user profiles may be processed by Google for other purposes, over which we have and can have no influence. You can deactivate the Google Maps service and thereby prevent data transfer to Google by deactivating JavaScript in your browser. However, please note that if you do so you will not be able to use the map function on our website.

Newsletter

We only deliver our newsletter with advertising information (hereinafter referred to as the “newsletter”) with the express consent of the recipient according to Art. 6 para. 1 clause 1 lit. a GDPR. Users register for our newsletter via a double opt-in process. After you register for our newsletter, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is required so that a third party cannot register using your email address.

Newsletter registrations are logged so that the registration process can be verified according to legal requirements. This includes saving the times of registration and confirmation, as well as your IP address.

To register for our newsletter, all you need to do is enter your email address. We also ask for your first and last name and address, although this information is optional. You may provide this information voluntarily, and it is only used to personalize the newsletter. You can also use a pseudonym.

We will save your email address until you unsubscribe from our newsletter. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time in the future by either clicking the link included at the end of each newsletter, or by clicking the “Unsubscribe from newsletter” link on our website and then completing the steps indicated.

Consent to send email addresses is provided on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a. We have an interest in using a user-friendly and secure newsletter system which both serves our business-related interests and fulfills users’ expectations for receiving information about our products.

Please note that you can object at any time to the future processing of your personal data according to the law under Art. 21 GDPR. The objection may apply, in particular, to processing for the purposes of direct advertisement.

Contact form

If you send us a message using our contact form, you can also use a pseudonym instead of your real name. You must enter an email address for us to be able to contact you via email.

We will only use data you enter into the contact form to answer your contact and to process your inquiry to us through the contact form. We will not transmit data you have entered into the contact form to third parties, nor will we use this data for any other purpose besides to answer your inquiry. We process data for the purpose of contact with us based on your freely granted consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 clause 1 lit. a GDPR.

After we have finished handling your inquiry, your data will be deleted unless there are statutory retention periods that interfere with the deletion.

Social network buttons

No social plug-ins from Facebook or other social networks are integrated onto our websites. Therefore, there is no programming code of any social network active on our website. The icons for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc. in the header and footer areas of our website are only linked images.

Processing/transmitting data

Your personal data is never transmitted to third parties for reasons other than those stated above or in the following.

We only transmit your personal data to third parties:

  • if you have granted your express consent for us to do so under Art. 6 para. 1 clause 1 lit. a GDPR,
  • if this is permitted by law and necessary according to Art. 6 para. 1 clause 1 lit. b GDPR to fulfill contractual relationships as necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures with you,
  • if we have a legal obligation to transmit the data according to Art. 6 para. 1 clause 1 lit. c GDPR,
  • if processing under Art. 6 para. 1 clause 1 lit. f GDPR is necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests or those of a third party, insofar as the interests or basic rights and freedoms of the data subject requiring protection of the personal data do not outweigh said interests, in particular if the data subject is a child,

Rights of data subjects

You have the right:

  • to request information regarding your personal data processed by us according to Art. 15 GDPR. In particular, you can request information on the purposes of processing, categories of personal information, categories of recipients to whom your data was or will be disclosed, planned storage terms, the existence of a right to correct, delete, restrict processing, or object to use of your data, the existence of a right to submit complaints, the origin of your data if we did not collect it, as well as regarding the use of automated decision-making processes and profiling, and any meaningful information on the details thereof;
  • according to Art. 16 GDPR, you can request the prompt rectification of your personal data we have saved that is incorrect or incomplete; 
  • according to Art. 17 GDPR, you can request the deletion of your personal data we have saved, unless the processing is necessary to exercise the right of free expression and information, or fulfill a legal obligation, or unless processing is required in the public interest or to assert, exercise or defend against legal claims;
  • according to Art. 18 GDPR, you can request the restriction of processing for your personal data, insofar as you dispute the correctness of the data, or the data processing is illegal, but you object to its deletion and we no longer require the data, although you require the data to assert, exercise or defend against legal claims, or if you have objected to the processing according to Art. 21 GDPR;
  • according to Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive your personal data which you have provided to us in a structured, common, and machine-readable format or request its transmission to another controller;
  • according to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR, you have the right to revoke any consent you have granted to us at any time. If you do so, we will no longer be able to carry out data processing based on this consent in the future;
  • according to Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to submit complaints to a supervisory authority. Typically, you can contact the supervisory authority at your place of residence or workplace, or at our headquarters for this purpose.

Your right to object

If we are processing your personal data to safeguard our predominant legitimate interests, as determined through a weighing of interests, according to Art. 6 para. 1 clause 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right according to Art. 21 GDPR to submit an objection to the processing of your personal data with future effect.

If processing is carried out for the purposes of direct marketing, you can exercise this right at any time. This also applies to profiling, if it is associated with such direct marketing. If processing is carried out for other purposes, you only have a right to object in case of grounds resulting from your specific situations.

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons related to your specific situation, if such processing is carried out under Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e or f GDPR. We will no longer process your personal information after an objection, unless we can show that there are mandatory and protected grounds for processing that outweigh your interests, rights, and freedoms, or if processing serves to assert, exercise, or defend against legal claims.

Data Security

We use the SSL protocol (Secure Socket Layer) on our website in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. Typically, this is 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we instead use 128-bit technology. You can tell whether individual pages of our website are transmitted in an encrypted manner because you will see the image of a key or lock symbol in your browser's bottom status bar.

Furthermore, we use suitable technical or organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, and against unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously revised in response to technological development.

Insofar as external service providers come into contact with your personal data, we have taken legal, technical and organizational measures and we carry out regular controlling to ensure that they uphold the regulations of data privacy laws.
